RMIT - Melbourne

There’s a revolution underway in the education sector and classrooms/learning spaces are constantly needing to adapt to keep up with new ways of working and learning. Having furniture that is mobile and agile enough to suit a variety of different configurations is critical.

Minimising disruption to the normal operation of the University was a key outcome for the project. We worked closely with the project management team to arrange deliveries at off-peak times and after hours to ensure there was minimal disruption to staff and students. Delivery of the new furniture had to be coordinated with removal of the old furniture, so clear and open communication was critical.

Workspace 360 were the successful applicant of a competitive tender process, and were able to provide them with a complete package solution for the project, which simplified their project management requirements.

We offered furniture that had been tried and proven in education environments, backed by a 10-year warranty and annual maintenance program to ensure the longevity of the furniture.

The furniture was delivered 3 weeks ahead of schedule which allowed additional works to be done in the same timeframe; needless to say the client was extremely pleased with the outcome.
